Alpha, Illinois, is located in the Southwest corner of Henry County, 15 miles north of Galesburg, 20 miles south of the Quad Cities. Alpha is located at the intersection of Illinois Highway Route 17 and U.S. Highway 150 and Alpha is just 3 miles west of Interstate 74. Alpha is additionally served by a major north-south line of the BNSF Railroad. Air service is available via the Quad Cities International Airport, 22 miles to the north.

We also have an excellent Volunteer Fire Department and served by the Tri-County Ambulance Service for emergency services.
 
The Village of Alpha has water and sewer service available and there are both undeveloped and improved properties accessible for future development. Phone and high speed internet services are also available in the Village.
