The Henry County Economic Development Partnership (HCEDP) is a not-for-profit corporation with membership from the public sector, represented by local government officials, and the private sector, represented by individuals, chambers of commerce, business and industry, and local economic development groups. The HCEDP has adopted the following general mission: To stimulate economic growth of Henry County by sustaining and encouraging growth of existing businesses and to attract new businesses.

The HCEDP has established the following goals to help accomplish their mission:

a) Increase the awareness of Henry County citizens concerning economic development activities and issues within the County.

b) Retain business and industry and encourage expansion.

c) Attract new business and industry to Henry County.

d) Develop additional financing tools and incentives for job creation within Henry County.
